Project Life | Week 1-3

Hullo peeps,

I am finally back with my first week of my Project Life posting. I am excited to post it out but I am kind of embarrassed too because I don't think I have put in much details and effort into it. Well, I think I am slowly and gradually understanding how each pocket works. I hope my Week 4 & 5 will be more interesting. I am working on it tonight *crossing my fingers*

Sorry, I have been busy with too many things in life and I am slightly slack with doing layouts. I am just so hooked with taking pictures everyday with Instagram and current project "Project Life". Once a while, I still do altered project. I hope after a few more weeks, everything will fall back to normal. Meanwhile, you can find inspiration at Scrappin Studio blog! This year I have make a big change over on the blog and what's awesome news! We have a handful of talented and well-known Designers from every part of the world to host the blog. Project Life | Instagram photos collage

Oh! Man… today is the last day of January. Well, whether you are happy or sad, completed your task or not. We have just spent one month of the year. That was kind of fast. Don’t you think we should do something about it!

I am not too sure how do you feel about yourself but I seriously think we have to start somewhere to record our lives and start treasuring every moment in our lives. Especially after giving birth, I noticed my memory does deteriorate a bit. The best way to record what you do, either to start writing your own diary or blog your story everyday. But, well…this may not be the best way but it is better than not doing anything.

So…

One day when I was reading thru Ali Edwards’s blog. I love reading her "everyday life" and her “project life". Each time I am in her blogs, her works always captured my heart. I am touched with those little details that she captured in her life. Without any doubt, I went browsing Becky Higgins site. I was so thrilled and so tempting to get a set of PL for myself to start. I think it did not take me long to decide (lol), very quickly I wrote an email to Scraplicious from Singapore and place my first order.

The moment I got my PL the very next day. I am so happy and anxious to start right away. Due to the festive month that I am celebrating the Lunar New Year, I decided to put on hold. I was supposed to start last week but time does not permit. Guess what!? I have been sorting out my IG and everyday photos for printing. Tonight, I promise myself that I will start printing all the photos. Writing in my blog at this very moment does excite me and I just got 2 fabulous stamps from SC shop, which I think it works very well for PL project.

Hola! How are you peeps? I seriously don't know where the h**k the time fly to. I know that I have been abandoned my blog for very, very long time....*boo*hoo*

I hope this year 2012, will give me a bit more determination for me to blog, to craft and to accomplish my coming forward plan. I would love to share my 2012 resolution in this blog post but I guess it have to time. I am stealing some time off on the fourth day of Lunar New Year. Indeed this "Dragon" year brings us rain in this festive seasons. I would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone, especially for those who are celebrating it.

"May the year of Dragon brings you good health, more wealth and success!! Gong Xi Fa Cai!"

I have exciting news to share with you! Let's keep the blog rolling and will save the best bit for the next posting :D

Here, I would like to share some of my altered project that I made last year for our group exchanged gifts. It was really fun, and I L-O-V-E it a lot!! I hope we will continue this tradition every year...

I have been a away for a while and now I have something to share with my fellow scrappers and friends. I {heart} this month kits because of MME pp and Amy Tangerine line. These 2 items is a must to have in your stash. I made this layout and would love to dedicate to my dear sister and her lovely husband. I hope both of them are still enjoying their newly weds moment.

Happy Family Mini Album

Hello ladies, this will be a very quick post because it is almost 2a.m. and yes, I am still blogging and trying to finish up some paper work. I wanted to post this album that I had completed a week ago and have no chance at all to post it up.

This album was totally inspired from one of my awesome and talented girlfriend's Jaz Lee. Her works and layering are more than words that can describe it. This album was specially made for my cousin's daughter. I really hope that they will 'LOVE' it. Here you will only see the cover of the album and not the content because I still want to remain the surprises for them.

Sharing another layout from Field Guide Oct Kit

This week, I feel that my mojo is coming back. I am so inspired at the moment. I would love to continuously create but it always 'a pause' there. Hmm...I am not sure is it I am giving myself some excuse or is it really the times are spinning faster.

I am quite worried at the moment because I do feel each day passes really quick and I always feel I have tons of stuff to complete each day. I tried planning it out but I still feel I still haven’t done enough and I am moving too slow. First, the weather over here is always problem in conjunction with the traffic. Most of the time I am stuck in the traffic...oh! Well, I guess this is what life are *sigh* I do hate traffic jam a lot!!

I hope my fellow scrappers out there do not have this problem. Well, I guess it is just ME that I am feeling it. All right, before wasting more of times babbling here where I have to make good use of my time before Lucas gets home. I better finish up my posting and whip something out from my craft table. Oh! ya...I will have posting in Scrappin Studio blog on DT Call for Scrappin Studio. Any of my fellow readers and friends, you are invited too to take part. Look out for it ya!

- we have fun in Central Park. It was such a huge place and we know we will not have the time to finish exploring it. We decided to take on 2 bicycles and cycle the whole central park. Can't believe I was away for so long...

Hello peeps, I am so glad and happy that I am slowly getting myself back at my craft table. Do tell you the truth, after a month or more that I totally hands off in crafting....my hands and my inspirations goes down to zero. It takes me a while to gain backs my spirit and mojo. I hope I can hang in there because I just took on a job for myself. It’s a challenging one, which is to design and coordinate my own home by end of this year. As much as I want to move in soon, there are many things that I have to consider in before the renovations start to take place. It is always very easy to design for someone but for own selves, it will be a tough one. Well, it's a long story and I don't think I want to bore many of you...when it comes to the final stage and when it is completed. I think that is what everyone's wanting to see...right! Then you have to stay with me... and be patient with me (lol) I sincerely hope I can work simultaneously at this point of time (keeping my fingers crossed)

Since, I have missed last month SC Kit posting and I am scrapping this month Field Guide. Here is my first 8.5 x11 inch layout, which I scrap in on a piece of Kraft paper bag that I got it in Perennial add-on kit. The stamp in Perennial kit is just gorgeous. Loving it very much and the washi tape too!

Those birds stamp (in Meadow Lark Add-on Kit) are so CUTE and the chipboard butterfly too. I am so please with the outcome of this layout and the best thing of all. I had captured many beautiful pictures during the trip. I have to admit that I was pretty sad when my son fall sick in Boston and spoilt my plan of taking another set of photo session with him in Boston. Well, I guess I have to do it in one of the park here :)

Oh me, Oh My! Layout

Hi peeps, I am sharing a Scrappin Studio Sunday Sketch layout. Anyone, wish to play along please feel free to participate HERE! Anyone, who want to know where is the bloom from? It was hand-made using Pink Paislee Mistables fabric scallop ribbon. I just posted a TUTORIAL in Scrappin Studio blog! Feel free to pay a visit if you want to learn to make your own flowers.

Today it was not a happy moment for me because this morning I just discovered my son have hand, foot & mouth disease which it happen a few days ago and I kept thinking it was allergies due to some other things. I wasn't too worry for my son because he still that cheeky & playful even he feels his body has some slight changes. I am very bless to have such a happy-go-lucky child. Only sad thing to L, he has to self quarantine at home for a week or more :( I hope he can recover soon, and be able to go to the States with us *crossing my fingers*

I was not too happy with some other reason...but then again growing up in a big family. There are always disagreement and argument with one another especially when we have our own families now. The heated conversation is alway with the topic 'children'. Well, it is nothing too severe but the topic 'children' does disturbed me. I won't say that I am a fantastic mum but I can admit I am very independent and cool mum. I will not let my child to over rule my life. To me, child is alway a child where by we have to nurture and build them to be a stronger person one day. Unlike certain someone that like to take things for granted and have no respect to elderly. Every human being need some love and respect, please be kind and mind your language some time. I pity my mum that have to take all this sh*t (sorry for being so rude) I really can't take it anymore! I need to let it out because I seriously think to this extend they will gain no respect from anyone if they continue to be so self center. Please be grateful that you are given a shelter, a maid and 2 elderly to help out. If do not appreciate at all, then be a better person and get your own shelter. Please do not take things for granted!

Phewww...I guess I am all cool and calm now. After blurting it out, I have a peace of mind. I am so sorry, that I choose to write it out because I think the word 'respect' is very important in everyone's life. I guess, my fellow scrappers wouldn't mind that some time I would love to share my thoughts and blurting my feeling out. If you have one, I do not mind to share too!

Can you believe it that we are in the mid-month of August. I really don't know where the times has flies to but I do know that very soon I will be in NYC for half a month. Can you believe it! (lol). Sorry, please don't be too jealous k! Come' on, it is my first time stepping foot into the States...*blush* hehe

This week, I am sharing something different apart from layouts which I have incorporated with Eclips **blink**blink**(it can do miracle, I will have more project showing what Eclips can do and Sizzix BigShot cannot do!), Zutter Bind-it-All and Sizzix Dies & Ink-its Letterpress. Yes, this week is all about gadget & tools.

I do not mend to be show off but would love to combine those tools and see what I can create! I hope you will like it and thanks for looking!

That's about it peeps! I have been very busy lately...I know I have not share with many of you. I still have a month to go and I am on my way to New York!! Yeah!! It is such a joy but I have fear because the flight will be a killer. No joke, it is 17 hours straight flight from Hong Kong to New York. Do not forget, I have little L with me (erm...I think I can no longer call him lil L anymore because he is so much bigger now). Packing is another headache task, moreover I am attending sis C wedding. Oh! How I wish I don't need to pack and just bring myself there and come back with a few luggage (lol). I wish...haha...

Please hang on there, I know by next month my blog will be even more stagnant. But time to time I will still stop over to your creation and have a little breathing space for myself :)

TCR#67 - 'Moment in Life'

Hi everyone! How was your Monday? Today, I has experienced the busiest day ever. In the morning, I have swimming lesson with Lucas. Lucas nanny took a day off today and mummy have to look after my little rascal :) At noon, off to the site to view my 'soon to be my new home'. Pretty hot day thou but am please to look at the outcome. Late noon, I have a 'Urut' lady to give me a 2 good hours massage. It was so good and painful but the outcome is sensation. Therefore, tonight I'm keeping my post short coz my body is feeling like a jelly at the moment.

I am back with a layout made by Mind the Gap kit. This time I go a little beyond with punches and stitching. Well, after 3 days in Singapore. I guess you can see I have a few new stuff on my crafting table (lol). Those EK doily punch was awesome and not forgetting my Sew Easy piercer. This cute little thing is so addictive and it is so easy to use. Love the result too! Hope you like it and the stitch along the butterfly was using the stitch piercer too! Cool rite!!

Card by Knickers Add-on Kit

Hi peeps! Love to share with you a card that I made with the mini portrait by Maya Road. Isn't it cute and classic? Instead of painting it with black acrylic. I emboss using TH distress embossing powder and lastly brush some perfect pearl on it. The frame was from die-cut book tag by TH. I emboss it with clear UTEE in few layers and lastly brush some Gold perfect pearl on it. Love those perfect pearl and the final result. Hope you like it! I will be back with more layouts soon!

A layout & a 'Sunshine' card!

Hi, there!! I know, I know...I missed out on my posting again **sigh** Last week, was a real madness in my life. I can't believe it too that I actually had encountered 2(TWO) accidents in just 3 days!! Many of you may not believe it but it is very true. Gosh...just thank god that no one is injured. The only sad thing was my car was a quite damaged. I just got my baby fixed in early March and now someone ran into it again. Oh! well...I just take it as a hurdle in my life or purely it was just 'bad luck' for me!!

This week, things has started to fall back to normal and finally I have time for myself. I am dying to scrap and scrap till non-stop but I can't. I am happy enough that I can be able to complete a few tasks just in this few days.

Can you see the dried flower on the left side?
It was a piece of flower that I brought all the way home from Hokkaido.
It was all dried up in between of my note book.
I think it was falling a part, therefore I decided to scrap
it in this layout and to continue preserving it.

Paper Moon layouts!

Hi there, I am back with Studio Calico kits layout. This month kit, Paper Moon & Countdown is a fun kit to play with. I love it because finally I can scrap a boyish layout for my boy. Love last month SC exclusive stamps and I can't wait for the July's Kit...more exclusive and TDF stamps coming up from Studio Calico & Hero Arts!!

I am sharing another piece of layout which I went all the way tearing up the pp. At first I have some doubt about the busy background but after I have assembled the photos and banner...it looks kinda cool (lol). I have to confess that yes, my picture quality was really bad because I forgot to clean my printer head. But I felt so wasted that I have printed those photos! In order to make it even look more messy and grunge look, I went and distress it with TH stamps...tadah...it looks great and I got the effect I wanted...hehe.

I use mostly Paper Moon kit + Countdown kit + Star Dust (brad & Maya doily). You can see I love those SMASH tape! So easy to use and so effective on the page. Hope you can find time and scrap along with this month kit.

Altered Project for Pixie Dust Paperie!

Oh! my...I can't believe that I have neglected my blog. Sorry to my fellow friends and my follower. I know I have been bad in updating. Life is really going nuts and not to let you down. Here is some exciting news that I want to share with you!

A few weeks ago, I was invited to be Pixie Dust Paperie June Challenge, Guest Designer. I was lost in words when I received Kirsty email. Of course, instantly I accepted her offer without thinking twice (lol) This is Kirsty inspiration of June Challenge, photograph by Georgianna Lane.

Without further a due, I am so eager to show you my first altered box.

With the photo inspiration, I went straight ahead to dig into my Dusty Attic chippies. Most patterned papers are from Pixie Dust Paperie, Nov Kit. You can see I love that AC embossed flower paper (a lot of fussy cutting going on there) and Webster Pages vellum is so versatile.

I have also incorporated stamping and embossing in this project. Love TH stamps!!

Hi, hi...opps...Let me clear off some dust and cob webs, 'puff, puff, *coughing*'. Okay, now is much better. I have been very bad in up-keeping my blog this day because it is not easy to cope so many things at a time *sigh* I hope some of you may understand me *smile*

It's been quite a while that I have not play with The Color Room Palette. This week, I am tempted to try with the color palette although I know the color is something that rarely will I scrap on my layout. Check the palette here,

Here is my take for this week. I have used G45, Once Upon A Springtime and self innovated paint textured and my DA chippie!!

I have hoard this papers with me for quite a while and I have been finding ways to use it. I love the fussy cutting for this paper. Loving every single thing in the paper. Hope you will like it and thanks for dropping by.

Hello, scrapper! I am back with this month yummy Lawn Party and Rope Swing add on kit. Not to say this month kit is yummy, the color for this month especially the teal color was gorgeous. I love Rope Swing add on kit because of that awesome background stamp and of course if you are eyeing on October Afternoon 5 & DIME line. It is a must have kit in your stash.

"Friends" altered tag

Hola, I am back with something that I would love to share. This week is a madness...just too many things going around and especially dh is on leave for a week. Below altered tag was specially made for someone who live in Osaka, Japan.

Talking about Japan, finally the parcel has sent out last week to our dear Tomoko Takahashi. I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who have donated their work to Inori. I am truly appreciate your kindness and spirit.

my son flipping through my scrapbook last night. At the beginning I was stunned & worried because I thought he will destroy my page but to my surprise...He was flipping it from page to page very gently. I observed him for a couple of minute and I couldn't help it, I have to grap by iPhone and filmed it down. He is so enthusiast at it and I am very pleased that I make all this for him :)

So, this is my boy in about to turn 16 month in another 5 more days.

Here is one of my layout which I have coordinated with using the kit from Singin' in the rain & Happy Refrain. This month kits was just too yummy! To a point, I can never say 'NO' to misting. It is a very fun way to create your layout with different texture sometime. When you want to try something different in your layout, try misting it. I am sure you will LOVE the result.

Been wanting to scrap about my "mother". Since, 'Mother's Day' is around the corner, I guess this kit is just perfect to create something for your love's one especially for someone that is close to you from the day when you were born :).

Love playing with acrylic too and corrugated paper.

TCR#54 "if you just S-M-I-L-E"

Happy Monday everyone!
Hope you peeps out there having fun during the weekend. I have fun taking L to Aquaria KLCC. It was a crowded Sat and we did not know it was PC Fair on that week. Well, jamming all the way there and jamming all the way back. It was a splendid journey and yet it is a tiring one :) Oh! well, that is what life it's all about sometime...right!?

Last night, I have some mojo in me that I wanna do this badly. The fact that I love this week palette and I know which photo I will use for this palette!
Before revealing my work, I have a few things to share with my fellow friends and blogger readers.
Firstly, I am so excited and eager to share with some of you that I got feature in The Color Room!!

I am so flatter and over excited when I knew about it last week. I never thought that I will be feature and thank you so much for giving me this opportunity and for those who have not experience in TCR. Please visit TCR here. I am sure you will have fun and get hooked like me (lol)

Without further a due, I have just completed another palette. Haha...I know, I told you I got hooked with the color and having creating the layout. Here you go, my TCR#54 palette,

Isn't those color are irresistible (lol)

The title if you just "SMILE" was from the song 'SMILE'
by Michael Jackson. I love the lyrics in the song and
would love to dedicate it to this layout I have just created!

Did you see that 'Chrysanthemum' die-cut? Yes, it is from Dusty Attic. It's an amazing die-cut I ever seen. Did you see those textured behind? Once again, I created the texture with tissue paper and self dyed it with some color mist. I was a little worried this may not turn out to be what I want. But in the end, with adding some Multi-medium and gesso it.

Voila! this is getting pretty interesting and exciting...hehe

I also coordinated it with some Prima's and of course my handmade bloom which, this will the last one in my stash :(. Will need to start doing more blooms coz I love it that I make it big enough for the layout. Will try to do a tutorial of my handmade bloom for those of you are dying to learn :)

Hi there, I hope everyone are enjoying their weekend with their family.

Last night, I have my inspiration full-charged and was quite fond of playing the Color Room palette. Since I have missed out quite a few. So here I am with a layout which I am quite pleased with the outcome. I hope you will enjoy and like it.

The Color Room Palette #53

Material: Basic Grey - Patterned Paper and Tissue Paper

Medium: Gesso, Acrylic Paint, Mist & Multi Medium Matte by Studio

Embellishes: Glitz Rub-on Frame, Flower by Prima, Flower stud by WP & self-made, Beads by Others, Thickers & Sassafras Alpha and Kraft mesh cloth.

I want to try with different texture on my layout. Therefore, I dyed the tissue paper with some mist. Once it dry up, I place it behind the photos. Hope you can see it!

Happy 60th Bday Mini Album

Hi, peeps!
Lately, I have helped my sis binding an album for her 'father-in-law' 60th. They are throwing a surprise for him. I was given a very short timeline and some task because the instructions from my sis was "NO flowers, No girlie color and Theme is GOLF". I was scratching my head because doing something without red, pink and sweetness color was somehow not my style (lol). Just when I get myself sit on the table, I suddenly remembered that I have this Old School line from Pink Paislee. Without further a due, I look through the line and the moment I see it. I know, this it is! This will match a 60 years old successful business man!

So, here you go...a simple album I made in 3 days.

The whole range was from Pink Paislee - Old School line. I heart that Metal tag frame and I love that checkered background.

Here is some pages that I would love to show. Unfortunately, there are too many pages to show. I just get to select a few pages that I like. Hope you like it.

All in I have 30 pages. I get to scrap the first 5-6 pages. The others will be
empty for the guest to sign in and to input their photos.

In this album, I incorporated in dies from Tim Holtz, Masking from TH &
Prima and embossed folder from Tim Holtz & Sizzix.
I love the outcome of using distress TH ink in canvas paper with a lil water.
It turns out to be like water color on canvas. I love it :)

Oh! I have also used Hero Arts stamps for some background and of course
the lovely punches from Martha Stewart.

Misting on some pages is so B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!

Err...I just said NO pink but I incorporated the color because of the photos
I have it with me. Blend in very well and loving those Butterflies and
Background stamp and embossed with Distress Powder - Tattered Rose.

Mist again with Tattered Angel - Glimmer Mist

10 month & 1 month Layout

Hi peeps, tonight I would love to share another layout from 'Into the woods and Mossy Knoll' kits with you. I have been busy the last few days because the kits has finally arrived! Yes!! If you haven't grab one yourself...please do so coz this month kit's are ALL very Yummy. This afternoon when I am having tea with our dear talented crafter Amelia. We are drooling on the embellishments and also this month SC has incorporated in so much yummy stuff. Stuff that you may not get in the LSS. In the kit you will alway get SC exclusive papers and embellishes that you cannot purchase it at anywhere else except to get it in the kit. So, make sure you try one...and I guaranteed you will get hooked on it!! LOL

day 128: I would like to show you that I am encouraging a 3 year old gurl
into scrapbook (lol). However, I hope she loves it!!

day 129: A page that I did for her and mummy.

day 130: How many of you like coffee? I don't just love them but I'm addicted
to coffee! I have owned a 'Nespresso' machine at home but I do love
to opt for different variety. Few of my fav brands, Starbuck, Local Coffee,
Sumiyaki, Nescafe & UCC.

day 131: One of my breakie with Rice Cracker top with tuna & corn.

day 132: Oh! my lil rascal. I can't believe he has grown up so much ever since
the maid's ran away.

day 133: If I'm not mistaken, this is smoke egg. Looks yummy but taste
alright. Wanna try, you can go to "the Cookbook" in Giza Mall.

day 134: Hah...Guess what dish is that? Maybe you will get it, maybe not...lol
Its our famous "Fried-Kuey-Teow" only available in Malaysia. When the
dish come to me, I was like...wow...so fusion and the decor on the plate.
Well, it taste the same obviously. Also available in "the Cookbook" restaurant.

TCR #51 but fail to submit

ello, ello...i know, i have been away and not updating my blog. well, i am not too well and i guess i am feeling that each day i get less and less time for myself. yes, i do sound like a greed person...i have everything with me and yet i feel i can never get satisfied. i don't know how many person are like me. i alway remind myself that i have a good hubby, now i have a wonderful boy making my life almost crazy (lol), i have my own house and a car and i have a wonderful family (my mum, dad, sis's & bro)...that's actually considering very good, right!!

obviously, many people wanted a secure career that generates monthly income, a place where they can work, and a place to loof for buddies (if possible) and best part of all, a career that you love it so much that you would not want to let it go till the day you die!! (LOL)

Well, I hope some of you may agree with me that crafting is a hobby, an art, a social activities and creation without limitation that i, myself will never let it go. not to say that i am bias or i am more on a creative side person but i guess many of you will agree to my saying that crafting does brings in something different into your life. well, i really do... i sincerely love this hobby, simply not because i am a retailer myself, i love it because whenever i am lost and feeing down. crafting really can de-stress myself and after the completion you will feel jolly and wonderful again.

Okay, I guess after for a week been not blogging, i'm getting a little too chatty. i hope i do not bored you gals. last few days when i'm feeling under the weather...i just have to drag myself up and do something. this is what i have created for my bro and SIL (a pressie for their grandma with all the grandchildren surrounding her). how sweet right!? After completion, i realized it was The Color Room Color. So farnee, that i don't even realized it after I have completed. maybe is the flu that making me not thinking straight (lol). okay, enough of my babbling and let enjoy the layout :)

Missing my blog...

Hi peeps, I cannot believe that I have neglected my blog ever since last Friday. Just too many things happen over at my side and things have been running like crazy. Many of you must have thought I have been away...well, I wish I am away. My first shocking news I heard since last week was the earthquake in Japan and come Tsunami. I was terrified to hear the news but before that my mind was already lost and blurred because that very same day in morning my maid had just dissapear...yes, she just ran away.

Well, life still goes on...I have to start thinking how to settle lil L daily routine and house hold chores. Very quickly, me and dh have worked something out. Well, its time for mummy to take care of lil L that's include bathing, eating, sleeping, playing, and back to eating, then bathing and finally tuck him to bed. I thought I still can have some time to craft but my body has been rejecting me for the past few nights. I have to head to the sac as early as 11pm. (I cannot believe that I am knocking out that early..lol. Usually by bedtime was like 2-3am) Yeah....I am practically a night scrapper!

Well, things have been working out much better now. I have asked my aunt to baby sit lil L from 10am-5pm everyday. This has given me an opportunity to be able to run my errands and scrappin again. I am so missing my craft table and just as soon as I sent lil L off today, here I have something to share with you... ^.^

day 129: Made a card for my Grandma. She just had her surgery last Mon.
I am hoping to see her recovering soon and to be able to walk back as normal.

I has finished another layout using the same kit. Would love to post it out but let's wait till tomorrow then. Hi, there! I can't believe that I doing this...this week was a super busy week for me and I know I am going to miss my TCR palette. Each day I will check on the countdown clock given in TCR and telling myself, I still have time. Finally, when I see it again it says 8 hours till deadline. LOL...so here I finally I managed to play with the colors and decided to do it small. I made a card instead...

Hi, peeps...time flies and we are in the 2nd week of March. I don't know about you but Monday is alway a slow moving day for me. Next, I would like to share my Sketch #145 from Creative Scrappers.

You can check the sketch here and here is my take.

At the beginning I have no confident in this layout. In this layout I have tried in different techniques which's one of it I learnt from Jessy the bubble wrap stamping technique. You may not see it that clearly behind the round matting paper. Once again, I love using the Candy Shoppe, Crate Paper-Rainbow paper. I think this is my last piece from my stash...(I can say, this is the paper that I make full use out of it). Don't you love my wood veneer STAR! It was manufacture by Studio Calico and you can get it here too! I did not paint it, instead I spray it with Mister Huey's mist. Lastly, I tried playing with the ink splatter. It was fun and I was pleased with the final outcome.

Pixie Dust Paperie February Challenge

Hi, as said I am back with another posting from the sketch mentioned above. I was quite overwhelmed with Kirsty sketch and thought it will be fun to do it! You can check out her blog here.

I did mine in 8x8 layout because I thought I would want to frame this precious little picture.

It was a pretty simple and easy layout. I did not spend too much time because my lil L was not feeling too well and he is too clingy when he is real sick!! Mummy have to spend more time with him and

I hope he will recover soon and be back his notty self.

I made those out of white card-stock.
Then I sprayed it with Mister Huey Sunshine and lastly I top it up with some Glimmer Mist from Tattered Angels.
Final touch, I adorn it with a pearl! Voila!! Love it!!

Phew...finally it's all done!! Yeah....I have made it! This is my Creative Scrapper Sketch #142. For the very first time, I get to participate all CS sketches! I am quite proud of myself. Now I believed that nothing is impossible. Everything is possible, if you want to do it!

Hi! Yes, I am still posting my layout (lol)...This is CS Sketch #144 and the sketch is here.

I think I am being a little bit obedient with this sketch. Didn't really change much but I like the sketch a lot. I specially scrap this piece, for my brother K and his 4 month old lil J during his fullmoon day (fullmoon = 1 month old in our chinese custom theory).

I am trying my very best to finish up the Jan & Feb kits...lol...The reason why, I am eyeing on the March kits already. Little Buddha for SIL Feb Challenge!

Hi there, very soon February month's going to end.

I still have 4 more days to catch up with the list of tasks I set for myself (lol).

Okay, here is another one down.

I completed this for "Scrap-It-Lah" February month challenge.

I know I still have 4 more to nail it down...mojo...mojo...please come to me!! (haha).

Back to the layout. I am too hype out with Color Room palette still. Therefore, I am trying to do another layout with the same color coordination from TCR. Recently, I was clearing my past kits and I found that I have this Tim Holtz mask! I totally in love with it. I tried different medium in this layout and love playing with the blue. I hope this layout of mine can qualify for this month challenge

"no RED or PINK or Any 2 shades of the Color".

I have to tell you that I had so much fun last night. I manage to finish (1) layout and (1) card for "The Color Room" Palette #46. I am sure for some of you had already done and posted it up. So, here will be by take. I finally get to use my handmade flowers! I have to say the blooms are looking 'Gorgeous' in the page (lol). I am quite please after completing it. It was a 'Simple' card thou. You can see, I am trying to finish up the alpha stickers.

I guess this will be the limit...anything beyond will be unrealistically. This should sum up to 6 layouts + 1 card. I don't know how am I going to complete it. On average I should be scrapping 1 layout per day. Looking at it, it doesn't sound that bad but I have to tell you, I am a slow scrapper *sigh*

I can't believe that my 365 posting can go that far...I am looking at the positive side of it. I got a message from Amelia, that asking me to scrap my 365 into scrapbook. Let me think about it. Indeed it is a great idea. I may do it... let's enjoy the photos for now...

A quiet Saturday

Today is a quiet day for me and my family. We do nothing much because lil L is not feeling too well. Suspect that he is teething again. We have a late lunch, therefore we are going to have a late dinner too. We are still waiting for our delivery to arrive. Guess what we are having?......Papa John (hmm...yummy but yet sinful, especially as this hour). We decided to dine in because tonight is dh hobby's night. Man Utd v Man City. Anyone here are fans of Man Utd? Nah....not me!

Since, the night is still early...I decided to post some of my 365 for sharing.

"SISTERS" Layout

OOoo...I love this month kits!! I love indeed ALL add-ons for this February's month. I cannot resist it, I love those honey-comb stamp from Jaw Breaker. Yes, sometimes you can go head over heel with just one items in the kits.

This month kits are so suitable for this month season especially for the Lunar New Year where RED is an auspicious color for this special occasion. Not forgetting we have our Valentine's Day. "Love bird" should take more pictures and start putting down with this month February Kit's to cherish this precious memories.

Here are the details and close up of this layout...

In the layout I have used "Candy Shoppe" & "Jaw Breaker" Kits. In this layout, the dominant is still with Candy Shoppe. All pp choice are from Candy Shoppe. Only a couple of embellies are from Jaw Breaker.

You can see I actually fuzzy cut the Crate Paper bloom specially design for Studio Calico in this month kit.

In this layout, I have incorporated with a few medium such as Gesso & Modern Red by Claudine Hellmuth. You can get those product here. I also use Calico White Mist by Mister Huey's. Most of the time now I love using TH distress ink to give the pp some dimensions. Lastly, not forgetting my Martha Stewart punch (which I think after this layout, the punches suddenly give way :( I hope there is policy of returning faulty tool!)

I {heart} this layout because I am sure my mum will definitely Love it!

Anyone has read something in my tag on the word "kuo tai lai" it's simply mean the Chinese traditional way of getting marriage. This special occasion host it 2 weeks before the actual date of marriage. I guess that is for the day.

As promise and I am back with my layout which I have posted in Scrappin Studio Sunday Sketch. Want to have some fun in your scrapping this month. You can view the Sunday Sketch here specially designed by Iris Uy.

This is the layout which I used February's kit, Candy Shoppe!!

In this layout, I decided to use the black card-stock for my background. I love all the embellishes in this month kit. I love those Heart Shape from BG, Hopscoth Collection and the Thinker Alphas are as sweet as Candy.

The close-ups & details...

Always love those classic butterfly. It does really make the layout look livelier.

Do you heart those blink*blink*? It's from MME.

I can't find a white pen, therefore I use some paint(Gesso) and a sharp needle to write the 'New' word.

I hand torned the heart shape and distress it with ink. Love the outcome!

I hope you gals enjoy this piece and tonight is another night with heavy feast and more gambling! (lol)...For those of you do celebrate today as worshipping "tien gong". Have fun!

Time really flies...

Oh! my...I didn't realized that my blog was dormant for 9 days. Happy moment does move on quickly. Today will be the 7th day of Chinese New Year. Many people still celebrate it as "Ren Ri" which means "Every Man's Birthday". To me, this means more feast and gathering! (lol). I hope everyone do enjoyed their long weekends and house visiting during CNY. I hope some of you have so much time in scrapping too!

I have some of my 365 with me and I will be back with a 12x12 layout from February's Kit, Candy Shoppe for this month Sunday Sketch. Anyone has missed out the Sunday Sketch please hop into ScrappinStudio Blog and start scrappin'.

day 103: I had my last minute 'Nail Art' before the CNY (just 1 day before).
I came back and did some add-ons.
I didn't seem to like the outcome but I love the RED.

Another busy week!

Many people started off with their Monday with Monday blues. Mine started off with Lunar New Year mood...been trying to finish my errands before Lunar New Year eve. Today, I am all stuck in the salon. Just to do my hair. Wow...I can't believe I was in there for like 3 hours to cut & perm my hair. By the time I realized when I am done, it was 4pm. That's it, whole day gone...but was lucky I am with my iPad. Still manage to do some follow up and emailing.

Before I reside for the night, and of course tomorrow another busy day. I have a 'BFF Gathering' tomorrow morning. Been waiting for this day because it will only be me and my friends. No kids and other half (lol).
Ok, I would love to share with you my 5th week of my journal...

"Paris - Champ Elysees" Layout

This layout is all about the day when I am in Paris back in year 2008.

I decided to scrap this picture because of where I am standing in the picture. I hope you can spot Eifel Tower in the photo (lol) In this layout I heart the Parisan paper from Pink Paislee. I was having some hard time deciding which side should I be using it. Finally, I made up my mind and decided to use both in a different way.

I fussy cut SC paper and layer them around the frame. I even framed the picture with the ribbon from MME. Just perfect for the frame. Don't you think?

I can't resist of not using the Parisan paper. I distressed it and punched it with Martha Stewart classic butterfly puncher and I used Maya Mist Metallic Turquoise for the circle puncher.

I can't get enough with it, I recycled the pp over for my TITLE! *wink*

Hi hi! I hope everyone is enjoying their public holiday. I had mine a little laid back and resting as much as I can. I am trying to catch up my sleepless night for the past few days. It was a great holiday thou. Okay, tonight I would love to share my 52 weeks project which inspired by Aida Haron. You can check on her blog.

Here is mine, for the first, second and third week....

Anyone who wish to follow along, you are always welcome. You can hop into Aida's blog and follow her few simple rules that she sets. It's easy, you don't have to spend any cents to get new range of papers or embellishes. My way of doing, I am using all my old stash and long time ago embellishes that sit inside a box untouched. Now is a good way to get rid of this embellishes. Sounds great!

Start now, before January month's end. I am sure you will be please when you see this end results.

Remember This Moment

This week I have a full inspiration in scrapbooking. Do not know why, maybe is because I was sick for the last two days and my mind is all cleared up. I have more "mojo" into scrapping. This weekend was lil' L 2nd day in Shichida, Centrepoint. This time round was hubby turn to be the parent guidance in the class. According to DH feedback, lil' L response is getting better and his focusing is getting better too. I hope we made the right choice for him "fingers crossed".

Okay, without further adieu here is my 2nd inspiration of using Who's Who Kit...

In this LO, all Stamps are from Studio Calico except for

Loving Life by Ali Edward. I {heart} Basic Grey - Curio range.

In this LO, I also used Mister Huey Cream Calico Mist,

which given me the effect of the lace shadow (shown in the photo below).

I tried applying some Gesso to lighten some of the paper texture.

Tissue tape by Tim Holtz was a great way to give a vintage touch to the LO.

I always like giving some space to my LO, some room to breathe I guess.

When I was sorting out my SD card, I realize I have not been importing photos since 22nd December 2010. Imagine, how many photos I have in a 4GB card!! (lol). I will need to take some time to sort out and edit and crop before I can post it up. I know, sometime I am a pain. The sketch was supposed to post it up before 31st Dec 2010. I miss the chance but its okay. I still wanted to post it in my blog as I have already completed. Hope everyone have a good weekend. I have mine pretty good, busy as ever. Today, was Lucas first day in Shichida. Mummy was pretty nervous, not too sure how to cope if Lucas ran out of patient and started making noise and crying. 'Phew' ...was lucky everything went well. The classes are small. We have 5 of us and such a small world, I bumped into my friend's son and his wife. What a great day!

Why am I not blogging the past few days? Reason no 1, I'm still half way through completing my site. On the 2nd Jan 2011, I should have some News to share to everyone!! Just stay tune...Sorry for being slack this month. No 2, I'm busy preparing my son 1 year old bday! Planning a kids party is not easy as I thought. Need to get the kids together, firstly I have to plan some entertainment for them, I have prepare each a Party Pack and Foods as well. Phew...so lucky, everything is well taken care of.
While I'm waiting for Wondermilk to finish off Lucas cupcakes. I decided to steal a bit of time to blog via IPhone lol. I'm so glad that nowadays phone can do wonders.
To cut things short, would love to share more photos of my Spore trip & Xmas party but those need time to be edited. Therefore today, I would just share my 365 pictures which I'm slacking as well lol

Day 82 - This shop is interesting. Must check it out if you know Wondermilk located at Damansara Utama.

Day 83 - by far this is not bad Cafe Latte that can get in KL. Crema & the froth is silky & creamy.

I am back from my trip...

This trip was exhausting! but it was a fun and productive trip. It was tired to travel with my boy but it was fun having him there. He enjoy himself especially we take him to places like Orchard. He just loves looking at people (lol) The lights along Orchard was a WOW to many of us. It was beautiful, and alway do without disappointment. We manage to bring Lucas to Jurong Bird park too. It was all fun and tired.

Why I say productive trip. In this trip especially with Lucas around, mummy manage to shop for her shoes, clothes and best thing of all. I manage to stop over at MWL and you know what, I have a long session with Sandra the founder of MWL. What a wonderful day, but just too bad I can't squeeze thru my time to make a slot for myself in her workshop...just too bad :(

Just two more days and its Christmas! I have to start wrap, wrap, wrapping all the pressie...Before I am off to continue with my errands. Would like to share with you my 365 photos.

Missing so many things...

Last 2 days, I have been staying up late to complete my new website. It is not fun at all when you say you want to create your own website. So many things I have to self learn and don't ask why if you see me with two panda eye (lol).

Countdown to another 30 hours and I am having my road trip to Singapore with hubby and Lucas (of course). Main objective is to bring Lucas to Jurong Birdpark & the Zoo! and 2nd objectives, mummy's want to do some shopping and go visiting the LSS. Ooh...I can't wait till to visit WML store. Heard its always jam pack with students and people. I guess our Creative Amelia Khalik is having her fun there now.

Tonight, I told myself I have to give myself at least an hour...to visit other blogs and post something up. Well, I am so busy until I do not have my 365 pictures (so slack). I will take more pictures during my trip and try to post up via iPad/iPhone. Hey, wait a minute....I think I have one picture for you.
